Geographical location

The Teghut copper-molybdenum deposit is the second largest deposit in Armenia in terms of copper and molybdenum reserves. It is located in northern Armenia, in the Lori region, near the villages of Teghut and Shnogh.

 

The copper-molybdenum ore reserves at the deposit are estimated at 450 million tons; the confirmed reserves of molybdenum amount to approximately 100 thousand tons, and those of copper to 1.6 million tons.
