In order to compensate the damage caused to the forestry for the implementation of the Teghout mine exploitation program by cutting down the forest cover, according to the joint order of the Minister of Nature Protection of RA №295 dated August 22, 2008 and the Minister of Agriculture of RA №151 dated August 14, 2008, 714 ha of forests were to be planted.


In addition to the program envisaged for forest plantation with a total area of 714 hectares, it was also allowed to carry out orchard works in the surrounding communities, in accordance with the joint order of the Minister of Nature Protection of RA №228-A dated August 7, 2015 and the Minister of Agriculture of RA №182-a dated August 4, 2015.


As of 01.05.2024, the company has cut down about 239 ha and restored about 677 ha, including orchards. As a result of the project, gardens of persimmon, quince, walnut, plum and other trees were planted.
